MRGO Must GO - Rally for Restoration Video

Last Monday, June 1st, was the first day of hurricane season. Being a New Orleans based company, this is the day when you begin mulling over your Plan B. What if it floods again ? Do we move to Baton Rouge ? Lafayette ? Who knows.

Fortunately, my mind was occupied with shooting the MRGO Must Go Coalition's Rally for Restoration. The purpose of the rally was for citizens of Orleans and St. Bernard Parish to demand that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers fix the wetlands that were destroyed by the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet (MRGO).

Working with Amanda Moore, the organizer of the rally, was a pleasure. She is very dedicated to the restoration of Louisiana's wetlands. She's not afraid to say what needs to be done and who needs to do it. (The Corps). We look forward to working with her, the MRGO Must GO Coalition, and the National Wildlife Federation.
